Volunteering on a NAEO Committee gives members the opportunity to help shape the organization’s work, to enhance their leadership skills and to become better acquainted with some fellow NAEO members. Most of the committee’s work is done via conference calls and email, so the time commitment is usually limited and the rewards are plentiful.

If you are interested in serving on one of NAEO’s committees, please contact the NAEO Executive Director, Lina Cunningham, at management@naeo.org.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee’s mission is to retain current members and to recruit new members by promoting association benefits. The committee works on an ongoing membership recruitment drive, contacts new and current members about their membership and continuously assesses member needs and benefits to keep the association strong and healthy. Learn more about the Membership Committee and it's current members.

Healthcare User Group (HUG)

NAEO’s Healthcare User Group (HUG) primary objective is to give member companies who have a strong healthcare focus a venue to network with other member companies that have the same focus. During a one (1) hour call the first Thursday of each month the group will talk through what their businesses are focusing on or struggling with to give each other guidance and support. HUG members also discuss how to use their systems more efficiently while discovering things and features that can help that happen.  Learn more about the Healthcare User Group and it's current members.

Professional Development Committee

The Professional Development Committee's mission is to provide quality educational experiences for the members. The PDC surveys members to gather information on what educational experiences the members have found most beneficial and what they are looking for. They also plan the educational content for the annual conference, webinars, and other training experiences by collaborating with NAEO leaders and Amtelco staff. This leads to the creation of a learning program that all NAEO member employees will have access to which will improve their skills and proficiency with Amtelco Systems. This committee is creating a video library of training topics for Supervisors and IS Programmers using Amtelco software.  Learn more about the Professional Development Committee and it's current members.

Conference Committee

The Conference Committee’s mission is to ensure that the annual spring NAEO conference is successful in terms of quality educational offerings and networking opportunities for attendees. The committee reviews past conference evaluation forms to prepare for the next conference and plans social activities that are held during the conference. Committee members are active at the conference helping with registration and session details as well as welcoming first-time attendees. Learn more about the Conference Committee and it's current members.

Future Directions Committee

The Future Directions Committee (FDC) mission is to conduct a continuous dialogue between NAEO and Amtelco in order to identify, develop, and improve Amtelco products and services that enable NAEO members to provide sophisticated solutions to their clients. Through high level collaboration, FDC ensures that the needs of its members and the efforts of its primary vendor are aligned. Learn more about the Future Directions Committee and it's current members.
